I didn’t come up through the usual startup path. I served in the U.S. Army, and everything I learned about execution — clear mission, detailed planning, disciplined follow-through, after- action review — I took with me into every role that followed.
After service, I went deep into operations, data science, and systems engineering. I earned an Executive MBA from Quantic, a Master’s in Data Science from Eastern University, and became a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. I spent 15+ years inside growing businesses — healthcare, logistics, defense, professional services — building the data infrastructure and process systems that quietly make companies scale or fail.
One pattern kept showing up. Small and mid-sized businesses were running on manual work that could be automated. They knew it. They were drowning in it. But the big consultancies wanted enterprise contracts and 18-month timelines, and the one-person freelancers couldn’t deliver at scale. The middle was wide open.
So I founded AutomateNexus.
Veteran-owned. Seattle-based. Focused on AI automation and workflow systems for SMBs — with ROI in 90 days, not 18 months. One-time builds. Client-owned deliverables. No SaaS lock-in.
The first year, I made every mistake an agency founder makes. I under-priced. I over-delivered. I took wrong-fit clients. I built a proposal system, an SOP library, and a pricing grid the hard way. By year two, we were signing $12,500 to $25,000 engagements. AutomateNexus has been covered in AP, Yahoo Finance, Markets Insider, MarketWatch, Apple News, Benzinga, and more. I wrote The AI Automation Field Manual — an Amazon bestseller — documenting the frameworks I use with every engagement.
Then the inbound started.
‘How did you start this?’ ‘Can I pay you to teach me?’ ‘Will you mentor me on launching my own agency?’
At first I said no — I was heads-down on client work. But the asks kept coming. I said yes to a few people and started mentoring them one-on-one. What I realized was that the thing people needed wasn’t a course. It was someone currently running the business they wanted to build — to help them skip the mistakes. And critically, they needed the infrastructure — the website, the CRM, the templates, the outbound playbook — or mentorship just generated homework they couldn’t finish.
That’s why Launch My AI Automation Agency exists.
We bundle the infrastructure with the mentorship. You get the same website stack AutomateNexus uses. The same CRM, whitelabeled to your agency. The same proposal templates. The same outbound sequences. And you get me — weekly, 1:1, for 12 weeks.
It’s capped at 5 new clients per month because I’m personally involved. That’s the ceiling, and I’m comfortable with it.
If you’ve been thinking about starting an AI automation agency, and you’ve been wishing someone running one would just help you do it — that’s what this is.
